Teanna grew up near the small town of Houghton in northeastern SD. After high school she attended Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. Upon graduation she spent several years working in mixed animal practice. Over the past decade however her experience has been working on the human medical side in both neurosurgery and chiropractic. She joined AVC in 2018 and is excited to be back in veterinary medicine.
Teanna resides on a small acreage near Avon with her husband Dan and two children Maesa and Rance. They have a small herd of cattle, two horses Salty and Padro, a few cats and a corgi named Bentley (you can follow his shenanigans on Instagram @bentleycorgistyle).
